Italian Wines, Presentation and Description by Craig Locascio, Ben Arnold Beverage Co.

1. Pere Alessandro Barolo, 2000
Each year little more than 1,250 hectares produce 6,500,000 bottles of Barolo, a long lasting red
wine which goes well with big dishes, above all red meats and tasty, mature cheeses.

2. Cantina Di Montalcino Chianti, 2003
A light, easy drinker, with berry, grape skin and violet character. Clear, ruby red color. Cherries and
fresh red fruit, mingle with spicy, peppery notes. Lively and fresh in the mouth, with soft,
     rounded tannins.

3. Castello Banfi Rosso Di Montalcino, 2002
The color is a very deep ruby red, with lively hints of violet. The bouquet is fresh and captivating,
with notes of cyclamen, berries, plums, raspberries, and more complex flavors of licorice,
cigar and cream. On the palate the wine is powerful, robust, flavorful and balanced.
The quality of the tannins is quite good, evidence of optimal maturation both on the vine and in the
barrel. The finish is long and intense.

4. Strozzi Millanni, 2000
A super Tuscan made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Merlot.

5. Sartori Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico, 2000
Intense garnet red color, fruity aroma with a spicy finish, velvety and full body. Serve with full flavored
cuisine, games, barbequed meats, aged and sharp cheeses.

6. Nino Negri Sfursat 5 Stelle
Sfursat 5 Stelle is made from a selection of the best grapes from the most celebrated vineyards
of the Valtellina Superiore, produced only in top years. The bunches are subjected to a natural
drying process; the wine that results from this is particularly robost and alcoholic.
Production began with the 1983 vintage and is very limited. Dark garnet red color, with orange
tints; strong, complex bouquet with an elegant spiciness (vanilla, cloves) backed by traces
    of fruit (plum) and dried flowers (violets, wild roses) and hints of toasted hazelnuts and raisins;
warm, powerful, savory flavor, firm but velvety, with a fine, lingering aftertaste of fruit preserves
and oak. This wine pairs well with red meats, game, and strong cheese.

7. Sartori Valpolicella Classico Superiore
Ruby red with a pleasant almond like taste and a light velvety finish. A great example of
    what Valpolicella should be.

8. Vigne Regali Rosa Regale Brachetto D'Acqui
Rosa Regale Brachetto D'Acqui is a unique red sparkling wine. Sweet and appealing, Brachetto
may be enjoyed as a delicious aperitif, between meal or after dinner sparkler. Aromatic with hint
of rose petals and raspberries, the Rosa Regale is perhaps the only wine in the world that marries
well with chocolate, especially dark or bittersweet. Delightful, vivacious and aromatic, it can also
be enjoyed with strawberries, fruit salads and a wide range of desserts.

9. Vigne Regali Principessa Gavi
Considered the premier dry white wine of Italy, Principessa Gavi compares favorably with the
world's noble wines. Superlative with a distinct personality, Principessa is fruity, fresh and crisp
with a gentle acidity and balanced finish. An ideal accompaniment with all shellfish, it also
marries well with fish, veal and grilled chicken, as well as with the delicate flavor variations
    of Japanese cuisine.

10. Villa Cerna Vernaccia Montuato, 2002
Medium body with almond overtones from the historic village of San Gimignano.
