Biography
Nora Martin’s primary research interest is in generational consumer differences with particular focus in Generation X & Y. Her research investigates generational attributes, driving factors behind their purchase decisions, materialistic tendencies, consumer ethical values and the correlation between materialism and ethics. Other areas of interest include E-commerce and small business development. Nora joined the USC Marketing team in fall 2005. Prior work experience includes Assistant Professor at Claflin University, small business consulting in all areas of business, ten years in corporate America as marketing manager for a major forestry equipment distributor, and a four-year tour with the United States Air force performing avionic maintenance. Nora currently serves as the American Marketing Association’s faculty advisor and teaches in the undergraduate program. Education
