Ph.D. in Business Administration: Management Science Emphasis
The Management Science Department offers two different Ph.D. programs of study:
Ph.D. Management Information Systems Emphasis
The Management Information Systems (MIS) area focuses on information systems and
technologies including telecommunications, databases, group support systems, and artificial
intelligence.
Ph.D. Production/Operations Management Emphasis
The Production/Operations Management (POM) area includes the design, planning, organization,
and control of activities involved in the transformation of resources into goods and services.
