
Ph.D. in Business Administration: Management Emphasis
The Management Department offers two different Ph.D. programs of study:
Ph.D. Organizational Behavior/Human Resources Emphasis
The Organizational Behavior/Human Resources (OB/HR) area focuses on the study of individuals
and groups within an organizational context and is concerned with how work organizations can
perform more effectively by better managing their human resources.
Ph.D. Strategic Management/Business Policy Emphasis
The Strategic Management/Business Policy (SM/BP) area is concerned with management
decision-making in the business firm. Primary focus is on the application of theoretical
developments to the strategic decisions made by top managers and top management teams.
