New business graduates are faced with a dilemma--they cannot get a job without prior work experience, but they cannot get work experience without a job. The International MBA program at Moore offers a solution. One year of full-time international business work experience is part of a special Language Track offered to recent business graduates with no previous work experience. Upon completion of the International MBA program, graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and experience necessary to compete in the global job market.
Admission to the highly acclaimed IMBA program is competitive.
Students seeking admission directly from an undergraduate program must have outstanding academic
qualifications (GPA 3.5+ and GMAT 650+), indication of leadership skills, and internship or
part-time work experience. Admitted students have the option to complete a one-year internship
instead of the traditional 4-month internship, making the program three years in length. If the
candidate chooses to study Chinese or Japanese, the length of the internship will remain five
months because the language training includes one year in China or Japan.
The one-year internship for Language Track students who lack post-baccalaureate work experience provides a valuable foundation for the global marketplace. The internship will be in a country where the student can use the language studied, and will be with a company that will require both business skills and intellectual acumen.
